Hey Everyone, this is the first post and I hope you find this helpful in interacting with others concerned about the kakapo.

The kakapo as you know, has a very delicate structure and mind and it takes thousands of years for it to adapt to its new situation. The kakapo is such a unique bird, it saddens me to think that there are only 125 left in the wild. These birds need out help desperately and by establishing this blog I hope I am spreading awareness about this troubling issue.
